We may modify this Policy at any time and if there are changes in how a user’s personal information is impacted, we will update the user. Regardless, we request users to check to see whether this Policy has been modified. Users are deemed to have accepted any modifications of this Policy if they continue to provide personal information to the Company after publication of such modifications.

Ribitt may also disclose to merchants the overall demographics available regarding users who "clicked" on their profiles. Aggregate non-identifiable information may be used to describe Ribitt services and products to third parties such as prospective business partners and financial institutions. In any of these circumstances, only non-identifiable information in an aggregate form and not personal information is disclosed.
Although Ribitt endeavours to keep your information as private as possible, there are certain situations in which we may disclose your personal information to the extent required and no further: (a) to comply with the law or a legal process; (b) to fix a breach in the App’s security; (c) if it is necessary in order to protect your or others’ safety; or (d) if you grant us permission to disclose such information.
Presence of Cookies to Collect Website Usage
A cookie is a small file stored on your computer by your web browser. Sessional cookies only work for the duration of your visit, and do not store personal information. Sessional cookies are used to help us understand how you move around our website. Persistent cookies are stored on your electronic device until they expire (persistent cookies have an expiration date), and can track information such as your IP address. Persistent cookies are used to help us identify if you are a returning visitor, or if you are a new visitor to our site. This will allow us to provide a better user service and experience.
Web Sites Operated By Third Parties Have Their Own Privacy Policies
Our App may contain links to third party applications or web sites that may collect personal information. This Policy does not extend to the data collection, disclosure, use and retention practices of such third parties and Ribitt does not assume any responsibility for the privacy practices, policies or actions of such third parties, nor does Ribitt adjust its operations to accommodate such third parties’ practices.
User must read such third parties’ respective privacy policies and make an informed decision whether or not to use such third parties’ applications or visit such websites and/or provide personal information to such third parties based upon their privacy practices.
Retaining and Protecting Collected Information
As a general rule the personal information we collect from those who use our Site is held in strict confidence and, except in limited circumstances as permitted or required by law, and as disclosed in this Policy, is not disclosed to third parties without your consent, express or implied.
Any personal information collected and held by Ribitt is safeguarded through the using of physical and electronic means and the implementation of policies applicable to Ribitt staff. We will retain users’ information for as long as needed for the user to utilize the App, and for us to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our Terms.
Ribitt does not sell any Personal Information provided by you to a third party nor do we share such information with anyone except for the sake of providing you the functionality we have committed to provide in the App.
If we do share with a third party any information that we have collected from your interaction with the App for reasons that are unrelated to providing you services with the App, we will make sure that we remove any personal identifiers so that the information is anonymized.
Verifying and correcting personal information
Individuals have the right to access, verify and correct or amend all of their personal information collected by Ribitt.
We believe that it is imperative that a user’s personal information be as accurate, complete and up to date as is necessary for the purposes for which it is collected. Accordingly, to help us keep personal information as current as possible, users are encouraged to amend inaccuracies and make corrections to their personal information in our records. To access, verify and correct or amend personal information you can edit it under ‘Profile’ found under the ‘More’ section or send an e-mail to Ribitt at email@example.com.
How to File a Complaint
To file a complaint with Ribitt concerning the collection, use and/or disclosure of personal information, please send an e-mail to Ribitt at firstname.lastname@example.org. All complaints will be investigated by Ribitt. You will be notified of the outcome of the investigation of your complaint and you may be notified of any relevant steps taken or to be taken as a result of your complaint.
